Good Song

It's definitely a well done song, yet it definitely shouldn't be in the heavy metal section, if anything it seems like it should maybe be in general rock, or something else close to that, flute definitely doesn't belong in metal(which means Jethro Tull should hav never won a metal award)...lol sorry, I had to make a jethro tull reference...but anyways, for the type of song it is, it sounds good, it's just not in the right section, but good job on the song man.

Nermio responds:

Thanks a lot, it was actually meant to be more of a (Hardrock-)ballad, that's why I put it here. But... Guess I've been listening too much to Nightwish... :P

Anyway, thanks for feedback!

Very Awesome Man

This song sounds very great man, if just snippets are this awesome I can't imagine how awesome the full song is. The riffs are great as is your tone, a good bit of them remind me of Dream Theater(I think that's been mentioned by someone before) which is definitely good since Dream Theater is my all time favorite band. It's really amazing that you can play this good at the age your at too, I'm the same age as you, yet I don't think I'm up to par with how great your playing is, but it's awesome to see someone who is the same age as me and listens to Dream Theater, and Megadeth at that, all the people who are the same age as me seem to listen to pretty stupid shit, glad to know all young guitar players don't have shitty music tastes and actually have a lot of talent. Sorry about the rant, when it comes to people listening to crappy music, I tend to go off and it's hard for me to stop haha, I think you get the idea though...well anyways, awesome song man, I'm not one to buy other's albums online and such, but I think I'm gonna try and buy this album, it sounds great dude, keep up the awesome work man.

Thanks for your vote, jdh504! You voted 5 for Choosing the Door [exerpts], raising its score from 4.80 to 4.83.

FlameMesial responds:

First off, reading halfway through the review already, you rule for being a Dream Theater fan :P And I know exactly what you mean by stupid shit, everybody our age loves fucking Trivium. I don't know why.

The whole song is just under 7 minutes, and I had to cut the song in half and throw a few fades here and there.

I would appreciate it very much if you could buy the labum, but there will be no sales here yet until I can get this Paypal account.

Thank you for the awesome review, I'm glad you like it! And thank you also for the 5 :D

Great Song

I already reviewed the song on Darkside's page, but I figured that I would review it here too. As I said on the other review the song sounds great, your vocals sounds great as always, and they go well with the guitar. Another thing I mentioned on there is that it's too short, but I'm assuming it had to be short or something along the lines of that, overall though, it sounds really good, good job. I voted 5 but apparently that kept it's score the same...I guess it's the thought that counts right? haha

Thanks for your vote, jdh504! You voted 5 for BBQ Beefburgerman Theme2, raising its score from 4.89 to 4.89.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much, for the review! Wow, it didn't even move.
I can't comment on the shortness, but I think it was what bbqbeefburgerman was wanting. Thanks again, man!\m/

Great Song

This sounds awesome man, the riffs sound great as does the tone too, it mixes well with the singing too. Overall the sound sounds really good, which is no surprise. The only complaint I would have is that it's too short, but it still sounds great, good job guys.

Thanks for your vote, jdh504! You voted 5 for BBQBEEFBURGERMAN Theme, raising its score from 4.72 to 4.73.

DarKsidE555 responds:

Thanks buddy! Well it's a themesong, what more can I say! The shortness was intended and wanted from Mr. BBQ himself! :D

Awesome Song

This is a great song man, Metalized did awesome on the guitar, and you did great on the vocals too, it's interesting though, the beginning vocals reminded me of a song that Metallica did, and then after the deep vocals(which were awesome as well) the vocals sounded like Pantera's singer. Yeah, nothing but good things to say about it, awesome job man, great song.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much man. Both those bands are big influences in my singing style, and you RULE for saying so! I danced a JIG.
Thanks for the awesome review, man!\m/

Great Cover

I always liked this song when I played Zelda, I have to say I probably like the metal version more than the original. It sounds very good, a little sloppy at some points, but nothing that really needs any mentioning, it just sounds awesome, great job man.

Thanks for your vote, jdh504! You voted 5 for O.O.T. : Gerudo valley METAL, keeping its score at 5.00.

Gorekiller responds:

...thanks for the review, mate ! I like "Gerudo valley" theme and walking through this place is always fun. I was just thinking about metalizing the "Desert Temple" theme too ! I'm glad you liked my cover !

Great Job

I can't say that I've heard the original of this song, but the cover you've done sounds really great, it has a wonderful tone to it, I'm sure it would be much better if I had heard the original before, but regardless, great cover man, can't wait to hear part 2 man.

Sonofkirk responds:

hey !
thanks for your review, pal!
i can tell you than the original version kicks ass !Stay tuned for the 2nd part !
Thanks a lot !

Very cool song

This sounds really cool, it sounds familiar too, so I'm guessing I must've heard that song before too. It has an awesome tone to it too, the bass sounds cool too. Did you play the bass yourself? Regardless of that, it really sounds beautiful, great job on this song, I'm not really 100% sure that it should be in heavy metal...but it sounds just incredible, great job man.

Mrbungl3 responds:

yeah i hear that.. I should have put it in rock i guess. and yup, i played the bass myself.. Thanks for you comment/rating!:)

haha, quite different

Yeah, definitely different from your normal stuff, but for what it is, I think it would work great for menu music in a game or something like that, definitely not the first time I've heard you stray away from metal though...but it definitely sounds really good, especially considering the fact that a metal head played it, haha good job man.

Thanks for your vote, jdh504! You voted 5 for Organic Pulsating(LOOP), raising its score from 3.50 to 3.80.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Haha, Thanks alot, bro. More to come eventually.

Thanks again!\m/

Very Nice

It sounds really cool man, even though it's not really a song and you're just messing around with new equipment, it still sounds really great though, some awesome riffs in there, I think the solos could be improved some though, but it is just messing around, so for messing around, it's really good, nice job man.

GoreBastard responds:

Cheers mate! Yeah, my solos are shite, I've only just started learning scales (after playing for 6 years haha!).

The blues scale is my friend!

Thanks for checking it out duuude.
