Kickass

This song definitely kicks some major ass. One thing I wanna ask first, is the singing at the start just "ba bada ba ba badadadada"(sorry, that's the best rendition of that I could do on the keyboard haha) cause I was trying to listen for lyrics there but it sounded like he was just screaming the rhythm. Anyways, everything about this song is awesome. The guitar playing is very nice, as is the singing, I can definitely tell who's singing which parts. Your voice is still kickass as well, went great with the song. The screaming also sounded pretty good, reminded me of arch enemy's screamer, did he use any effects for the screaming? Anyway, this song has an awesome sound to it, and it was definitely put together well, great job on this song.

Yeah, there is a bit of a story behind the "bababa's"...relating to strung out junkies. haha. Elf's screaming is among the best I have ever heard. As far as I know, its just Raw voice, no effects. Just a bit of compression. I think it fit well into the song as far as the progression of it.

[The Longing Inside]

Great Song

Sorry it took me so long to look at your music, better late then then never right? Well, the intro reminded me a lot of something that I'd hear from Opeth, just a little less evil sounding, but it'd be hard to top them anyways. I really like the build up the song has, it's not too fast or too slow of a build up, it's just right. I also like how it goes back to soft in the end, sounds real nice. Some very nice solo work in there as well, as someone else said, I as well could imagine hearing someone perform this live, great song man, hope to hear more from you.

thanks a lot. and no problem, late review is better than no review. i had a lot of fun playing the leads for this one. i'd say about 80% improvised. i just knew ehre certain changes in the song occured and planned what to play at the changed for smoother transitions.
thanks for the review man, and i should have a new one up within a week or two. maybe i'll drop by your page when its up. its currently lacking a second lead track, a bass line, and eq-ing.

Awesome Song

This song sounds cool, lots of cool riffs in there, definitely something worthy of headbanging, which I have just finished doing after listening to it haha...but yeah, awesome song man, sounds really great.

Purely Awesome

Great job on thie song man. This was always one of my favorite video games songs, mainly because 1. it's kicks ass, and 2. Steve Vai played it, of course there's not too many situations(if any at all) that don't involve Steve Vai and kicking ass in the same sentence...but that's besides the point, there aren't any real flaws I can point out. The only thing I would have wrong with it, is that I was hoping to hear the very beginning of it, right before the fast part that you started at...but it definitely rocks regardless, and it deserves that platinum track, great job man.

Another Wonderful Piece

So I decided to drop by and review another one of your songs. This one is as I expected, brilliant as the other one was. Your pieces seem so well brought together, I can understand you not wanting to do this for money or anything, I can definitely see where you're coming from, hell I'd be happy just having the guitar skill of the likes of John Petrucci or Steve Vai and not making a dime from it. Oh and this has done everything but deter me from my ambitions, it's definitely inspired me. I can only hope to be able to make music and wonderfully as you can someday, but I know if I keep practicing I can reach that goal if I want it bad enough. Thanks for the wonderful advice though, I hope to hear more songs from you soon man, keep up the awesome work.

I am glad to hear you have found inspiration in these pieces. I am confident you can get wherever you want to, and even beyond that with the right amount of patience and eagerness. I don't have any musical training myself, and so don't think that you have to go through training to get anywhere. It helps no doubt, but if you have the strength and will, you will attain the skill one way or another.

I will keep bringing more tunes to the table, as I hope you will to. I'd like to see what you would be able to do in a year or so. Keep up the good fight!

Awesome Music

After reading your reviews, it appeared that you knew what you were talking about, so when I looked at your music, not to my surprise, it is amazing. Obviously there really aren't any complaints. It's just so well made, the feel of it is incredible, like something I would hear in a movie trailer. You should definitely be making music for movies, games, or something of the sort, cause this music sounds incredbile, very professional, and just overall incredible. Awesome work man, keep up the great work.

I hope what you heard here today didn't deter you from your own ambitions. We all start somewhere, and I hear some real potential in your pieces. Keep practicing, and keep them coming, and along the way you will pick up tricks and methods.

I will of course be willing to help you if at some point you would want my assistance.

Also, I do compose for some online games, but I don't think I will do it for money. That is simply not where I want to take my music.

Wow, this song made me just about speechless. Everything about it is just fucking amazing, it basically scream heavy metal. This is some of the best metal I've heard on this website man, amazing work man, hope to hear more from you, keep up the great work.

Just finished listening to it. It's great man, the harmonies with the 3 guitars mix really well, and end up sounding great, hopefully you will make this into a full song or something, cause it sounds awesome man, keep you the great work.

Awesome as always

I'd have to agree with navij, the tone in this song is great, I like the little guitar intro as well too. The drums definitely work well with this song too, I can't wait to hear the vocals you make for this, knowing that you make some awesome vocals man, hope you finish it sometime soon, keep up the great work man.

Sounds Great

This is a great song, not really the kind of music I would normally listen to, but it still sounds really good. I thought the same as the guy who reviewed this before me, right when I heard it I thought of something I'd hear in a game like perfect dark zero or something like that. It is a great song though, hope to hear more, maybe with less synths and some heavy riffs haha, keep up the great work though man, great stuff.

All I have are synths -- well, that's almost true. The 'guitar' you hear is just a run-of-the-mill synthesizer run through "fake" guitar equipment.

I did score a real guitar and am in the process of getting callouses learning how to play it -- so real guitar goodness should be upcoming!
